The converter gives different results between the motherboards with chipset ich7 and ich8 when I install OSX pc version.
At first, I use the converter on Gigabyte 945P to connect the ide drives to the sata ports on the motherboard. It works perfect in OSX PC system, no matter harddisks or DVD writers. You can take the unit combining the harddisk and the converter equal to a REAL sata drive.
Because the ich8 does not support IDE devices, I consider it would be a good way to build sata drives. When I connect IDE hardisk and DVD drive to the sata ports of the motherboard Gigabyte 965P-DS3, DVD drive can not boot and hardisk can not be shown in Disk Utility. I am sure the CMOS are configured right (disable sata native mode), and the real sata harddisks are shown.

One thing we have noticed in the past years is that media has been offered aggressively towards demanding people who want to get them first hand on the web. Sites such as Youtube and Metaface have taken on the challenge but if you will notice, they are not as fine as we would see on normal TV broadcasts.
Internet connection is the main reason for these choppy connections and with bigger data needed to allow people to see them, expect upgrades in providing faster and reliable connection on the web in the coming years. With that in mind, expect as well new media to be served on the web.
So as you can see, it is a cat and mouse thing. Improve your service to open new gateways for innovation. That’s just how it works.

I adore Grammar Girl ! Its a great podcast site for amateur and professional writers. Grammar Girl, which is created by writer and entrepreneur, Mignon Fogarty, offers short, simple, and easy-to-listen to tips regarding grammar and writing. Personally, I love three things about Grammar Girl. One, it offers advice without sounding preachy and condescending. Two, there are transcripts available for every episode. Three, the layout is warm and trendy so that it appeals to browsers of both sexes and varying ages.
I guess most people agree with me since this podcast has also received the following awards:
2007 Winner Best Education Podcast Podcast Awards
2007 Winner Favorite Audio Program Podcast Peer Awards
2006 Winner Best Education Podcast Podcast Peer Awards
